Adjust Your Smart Bed's Wi-Fi Settings

If you set up a new Wi-Fi router, change certain Wi-Fi settings, and/or if you need to connect your smart bed back to your home’s Wi-Fi network, you can go to Menu > My Smart Bed > Troubleshoot & Wi-Fi > Adjust Wi-Fi Settings, and then follow the on-screen prompts.

Unable to Connect to my Home's Wi-Fi Network

If you are able to enter your home's Wi-Fi password during setup, but unable to move forward after doing so, then try the suggestions below individually.

NOTE:

  • For additional assistance with the below steps, we recommend contacting your router/gateway's manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider (ISP) first.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Power-Cycle Your Devices:
    • A) Unplug the power to your modem, Wi-Fi router, and smart bed processor, then wait at least 30 seconds. If you have a gateway (Wi-Fi + modem combo device), simply unplug it.
    • B) Plug-in the power to the modem first > wait for the lights to stabilize (~3-5 mins). Alternatively, if you have a gateway, power it on > wait for the lights to stabilize (~3-5 mins) > move onto step D.
    • C) Plug-in the power to your Wi-Fi router and wait for the lights to stabilize (~3-5 mins).
    • D) Plug-in the power to your processor and wait for the status light to start flashing green or orange consistently.
    • E) Try the setup process once again.
  2. If you're using a network-wide VPN on your Wi-Fi router or gateway, or a security app on your mobile device, disable it and then try connecting once again.
  3. Try moving your Wi-Fi router or gateway closer to your bed.
  4. If you use MAC address filtering on your router, either disable it or make sure to add the MAC address of your processor (located on the side label of your processor) to your router or gateway's settings.
  5. Reinstall the Fullpower® Sleep app on your mobile device.
  6. Factory reset your processor to see if that helps. Select here for instructions.
  7. If you have access to another phone or tablet where you can install the Fullpower® Sleep app on, use it to see if you’re able to complete the setup.
  8. Factory reset your router/gateway or consider/try using an alternative router/gateway.
Smart Bed Keeps Disconnecting from Wi-Fi After Initial Setup

If you already set up your smart bed with the app, but the smart bed keeps disconnecting from your home's Wi-Fi network, then try the suggestions below individually.

NOTE:

  • For additional assistance with the below steps, we recommend contacting your router/gateway's manufacturer or your Internet Service Provider (ISP) first.

Troubleshooting Steps:

  1. Go to Menu > My Smart Bed > Troubleshoot & Wi-Fi > Adjust Wi-Fi Settings, and then follow the on-screen prompts to reconnect the smart bed to your home's Wi-Fi network.
  2. Be sure to use the 10W power adapter that was included in your smart bed kit. Your processor may not work correctly if you plug it into a different power adapter.
  3. Power cycle your devices:
    • A) Unplug the power to your modem, Wi-Fi router, and Sleeptracker-AI® processor, then wait at least 30 seconds. If you have a gateway (Wi-Fi + modem combo device), simply unplug it.
      • If your Sleeptracker-AI® system came pre-installed on an adjustable base, you can unplug the power to your base to turn off the processor.
    • D) Plug-in the power to your processor and wait for the status light to become solid green
  4. Move your Wi-Fi router or gateway closer to your bed.
  5. Make sure you're using the correct app. Select here to review the “Reinstall the App” section for steps.
  6. Factory reset your processor(s) and then go to Menu > Pair Smart Bed in the app, to redo the setup. Select here for instructions.
  7. If your home's Wi-Fi is separated into two different networks—a 2.4GHz network and a 5GHz network—try connecting the smart bed to the 2.4GHz network for better range in your bedroom.
  8. Consider installing a Wi-Fi range extender or using a mesh Wi-Fi network for better range in your bedroom.
